We've teamed up with DJ/Producer Sal Rivera to bring you the following upcomming talent...

OCT 9 Stephen Christopher is a Detroit-based DJ and producer. His eclectic musical tastes range from the deepest, soulful house to the most minimal techno. He has played clubs and afterparties around town and has recently opened for names such as Juan Atkins and Paul Van Dyk. He also produces tracks under the name Theoretical. His track, "Futurism", was recently featured in the soundtrack for a documentary.

OCT 16 Katalist began his love for underground music in the early 90’s. Growing up in Detroit and Chicago, he was influenced by Motown\Funk\House\Detroit techno/electro. By the late 90’s, he began to throw local parties and club nights under his company Protostar Productions and in conjunction with Eidetic Communications and AudioArt Productions. Word spread quickly and soon Katalist was DJing across the state. Soon after he began producing and building his studio. While in Detroit, he began producing with Twonz aka Mr. Faulkner, who he has performed live with, along with local hip hop acts. He has engineered at many local recording studios including The Disc, and began to play shows throughout the across the country. In his nearly 13 years as a DJ, he has performed over 1500 shows in 13 states and can definitely rock a crowd. He currently is a resident at Big Beaver Tavern, and Bookies Bar & Grill where you’ll find him mixing everything from Motown to hip hop to rock to techno. Now with his studio, Elements of Sound, complete and refined, he is producing and remixing. He is also creating his own patches and synthesizers for electronic production. He currently holds 4 residencies around the state, and has a new release on the Bang Tech 12 Artist Compilation that debuted at the 2009 D.E.M.F.

OCT 23  A.D.CRUZE
Well, I'm currently living in Detroit and traveling back & forth to Miami (where i'm originally from) and Toronto.

I handle licensing & marketing for Digital Vinyl Recordings (digitalvinylrecordings.com) based out of Miami. It's primarily a house label but we also put out chill out tracks and a variety of experimental music from artists throughout the world. I also do promotion for Decibel Recordings NYC in addition to remixing some of their projects.
I have a long history in the Miami music scene. I started out promoting for Krystal Records which went on to become SFP Records (at the time the most popular Miami label internationally). I then got hired to handle promotion for Miami's premier bass music label Pandisc and their electronica spin off label StreetBeat Records. StreetBeat became a big player in the early days of electronica sponsoring raves throughout Florida and putting out tracks with Acosta, Sanger, Icey, Friction & Spice and a bunch of other guys who helped establish the "breaks" sound.

Additionally I owned Hitz Record Pool in Miami Beach (back when they used to make vinyl) and promoted records to all the djs in the early days of South Beach. Later on I became Director of A&R for Whirling Records and put out some great records from Hex Hector, Johnny Vicious, Cevin Fisher, Robbie Rivera, John Kano & Sunscreem during the hey day of South Beach.

I'm also a dj and producer of mainly house tracks and work with a few hip hop & R&B artists out of NY, Miami & Toronto and have djayed at nearly every venue in South Beach & Miami over the last decade.
